Deceased Name: Arthur David Gurovitsch

Arthur David Gurovitsch, 72, Grand Lake, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1995, in San Antonio, Texas, while visiting his family.

He was born in Duluth.

He served as general manager at Northern Electric Supply Co. from 1945 until retiring in 1987. He served as board member and past president of the Ida Cook Hebrew School, board member and past president of the Nat G. Polinsky Rehabilitation Center and board member and president of the Jewish Federation of Duluth.

He also served as a volunteer tutor of E.S.L. students and was a volunteer guardian ad litem for the juvenile court system.

He is survived by his wife, Winnie; a son, David of Las Vegas, Nev.; five daughters, Robin Daniels and Kerry Sonsino, both of San Antonio, Cindy Singer of Atlanta, Marcy Kahl of Madison, Wis., and Midori Gurovitsch of Houston; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Temple Israel. Burial will be in the Tifereth Israel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a special Arthur D. Gurovitsch Fund at Temple Israel. Arrangements are by Johnson Mortuary.
